Matthew earned his wings tonight.

Matthew has gone to be with God. He passed away at about 6:10pm quite peacefully. Tricia and I were able to talk to him even though some say he would not hear at the time as his oxygen level was so low and he was more or less in a deep sleep. However, after I told him how much we loved him, how proud I was of him and how we would be ok if he decided he wanted to quit fighting and just be at peace, he opened his eyes as if to acknowledge what I had said and then kept them open for a while, closed them and passed away. Please pray for all of us now as I just don't know how we can handle this, our lives are changed forever. As always, we do thank all of you for your prayers and encouragement. God Bless You.
